Pacifier
What is hopefully my final attempt to quit smoking starts today. I don’t expect it to be easy, but I’m growing quite sick of the control I let smoking have on my life. After trying to find someone to quit with, it appears I’ll be going at this alone. Wish me luck!

Why doesn’t the government just audit their own agency’s computers? It would be nice if we didn’t continue to give up our rights to this administration!

FORTUNE: Congress botched digital TV - Jan. 4, 2006
More news regarding the approaching digital only deadline. Keep in mind at this point you will not only be able to watch digital content, you will be required to adhere to strict measures being put in place to prevent you from doing many things you now take for granted. For example, your PVR will have time limits set for how long it can save content, you will be unable to connect analog devices to your television to record shows you like for later viewing, etc.
